Our Team \ Fatima Laher (Regular Writer)


Fatima is a law graduate from BPP Law University. She will soon be commencing the BPTC LLM from September 2018, with the aim of pursuing a career as a barrister specialising in family law.  

Fatima has obtained awards for outstanding performances in Contract Law and Professional Skills in Practice, as well as an Employability award. She is currently the contributing editor for the family law newsletter at Spire Barristers and the BPP Digital Literacy Champion where support is given to students to develop their digital skills through delivery of interactive sessions. Her role involves writing blog posts on current legal issues for the BPP newspaper and regularly posting images on social media sites following events.

Outside the law, Fatima runs a successful tuition business, where she has had the opportunity to tutor a young boy with autism. Additionally, she has taken up a new hobby of playing dart, while finding time to organise a range charity events, including 24-hour badminton and swimming events.
